Angry Pablo Social Club | Event Waiver

Please carefully read and review the Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club Waiver and Release Form.

Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club sessions are organised by Angry Pablo (“Angry Pablo”, “we”, or “our”) [and assisted by volunteers].

Background

We would like you to enjoy being part of the Angry Pablo Social Run Club community and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club community and for you to benefit from the physical, social and mental benefits of running and/or riding with us.

Angry Pablo have risk assessed the routes for the running and riding sessions, but all sessions take place outdoors which include public roads, parks, pedestrians, cyclists, scooters and vehicles. There are a variety of surfaces that you will run or ride on and these can all be affected by weather conditions. There are many unforeseen factors which are outside of our control.

Running and cycling are physically active sports. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit, such as sports.

In this Waiver and Release:

Angry Pablo means Angry Pablo LTD (registered in England & Wales with company no: 12580456) Registered office: 3 Newick Place 105 Marine Drive, Brighton, England, BN2 7GE.

Effective Date means the date being the earlier of (a) the date of this Waiver and Release form; and (b) the date that you, the participant, take part in an Angry Pablo Social Run Club session and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club session.

What you are signing up to:

Before you take part in any of the Angry Pablo Social Run Club session and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club session you, the participant, must read, understand and agree to the following:

1. I am taking part in the Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club sessions entirely at my own risk.

2. I accept that Angry Pablo (including all of its employees, officers, assistants, volunteers and directors) shall not be liable or responsible for anything related to or arising out of my participation in the Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club and from and including the Effective Date I irrevocably:
(a) release and discharge Angry Pablo from any liability (regardless of whether such liability arises in tort, contract or in any other way and whether or not caused by negligence) including, but not limited to, any injury, loss, or damage to myself, or any third party of property; and
(b) waive all and any rights whatsoever and howsoever arising which I may have (or have had) to bring any claim or cause of action, whether in law or in equity (including negligence) against Angry Pablo.

3. I am in good health, physically fit and I am not aware of any physical or psychological reasons why I cannot take part in the Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club sessions. Running and cycling are physically active sports. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit, such as sports.

4. In relation to all Angry Pablo Social Ride Club sessions I confirm that I will: (a) wear a well-fitting helmet: (b) obey all traffic signs and signals; (c) only use a road worthy bike that is regularly maintained; and (d) adhere to the highway code and group riding etiquette.

5. I acknowledge and agree that any Angry Pablo Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club activity in which I engage carries an inherent risk of potential accident or injury.

6. I accept that instructions and routes may deviate at the time of event.

7. I agree that Angry Pablo reserve the right to refuse participation in the Social Run Club and/or Angry Pablo Social Ride Club for any reason including if they suspect that participants are intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances.

8. I agree to behave in a safe and responsible manner both during the run and/or cycle and afterwards at the meeting place. This includes, but is not limited to, respecting right of ways and the highway code, refraining from littering and engaging politely with other members of the public.

9. I am 18 years of age or older and competent to sign this Waiver and Release.

10. I have read this Wavier and Release and I am familiar with and understand its contents.

11. By signing this Waiver and Release I am agreeing to everything outlined in this document for all participation in all events organised by or on behalf of Angry Pablo going forward.

12. I'd like to be signed up to the Angry Pablo SMS and/or email list to get updates, special access to promotions and more.

13. I am allowing Angry Pablo to the usage rights of my image online and on socials for a period that does not expire. (Please notify photographer or Angry Pablo staff if you don't wish to be photographed).

14. This Waiver and Release and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, it, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
